Description: I. 'RE-ORGANISING THE SERBIAN ARMY. The Serbs who are born fighters, receiving instruction in Swedish Drill, preparatory to taking their place in the trenches against the Bulgars'. Men run through PT routine in open air - instructor watches them from a raised podium. MS, troops fallen in in line - they wear uniform tunics and caps but without insignia.II. 'ARTILLERY CROSSING THE MOUNTAINS. British artillery climbing a mountain path with their heavy guns, on the way to the Allied front at Salonika'. Column of Australian horse-drawn 60-pounder artillery passes along a dusty road, followed by French troops with supply wagons.III. 'AMBULANCE COMPETITION. The spectators at the West Kent volunteer Fencibles Sports, see the way Red Cross Bandging (sic) and Stretcher Work is carried out at the Front.' Spectators watch as 'casualties' are lifted onto stretchers and carried to Model T Ford ambulance of V.A.D. KENT (Sydenham).IV. 'WELSH NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD. The Gorsedd procession passing through the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle'. Man declaims to a crowd - he is in ordinary dress but next to him stands a robed figure - other 'bards' are present. Procession through the Castle ruins: police escort a banner, firemen carry a cornucopian horn on a cushion, a man bears a sword. The 'bards' follow up the rear - one is a clergyman and wears combination clerical-bardic costume. 'MR LLOYD GEORGE AT ABERYSTWYTH. The War Minister is surrounded by enthusiastic crowds on his arrival at the great Welsh Musical Festival.' Crowds in open field cheer as Lloyd George arrives by car. Police line the route. Lloyd George gets out of the car and an impetuous lady breaks through the cordon to shake his hand. As the great man walks off the crowd surges after him.
